Rainbow Springs State Park
This park is built around the gorgeous crystal-clear waters of the 5.7 mile long Rainbow River. This river has been a tourist attraction for thousands of years, with local American Indians visiting it before colonization. Major attractions are the hundreds of different local fish and wildlife, breathtaking waterfalls, and beautiful hiking trails. Things to do include birding, camping, fishing, geo-seeking, hiking, paddling, picnicking, snorkeling, swimming, tubing, and wildlife viewing. This park is a twenty-five minute drive from our hotel.
